Cameroonian born Dieudonné Nlend stands out as a key player in the telecommunications industry, especially in advancing 4G LTE and 5G networks. As the Chief Architect for Telecommunications and 4G LTE – 5G Systems at Fenix Group Inc., a Nokia Federal Solutions Company, he plays a vital role in creating and implementing secure connectivity solutions for the U.S. government.

Before his time at Fenix Group, Dieudonné showcased his skills at TTI – Nokia, where he served as Director of Telecom Engineering and Programs from 2011 to December 2018. In this position, he led the development and rollout of 4G LTE and 5G infrastructures, while devising strategies to transition the U.S. network to 5G technology. His efforts significantly impacted major operators like Verizon, T-Mobile, and AT&T.

Dieudonné also held important roles at Discovery Communications. As the General Manager of Discovery Communications International, he managed operations in Africa from Conakry, Guinea. His positions as Vice President of Business Development and Engineering at Discovery Communications allowed him to contribute to significant projects across the African continent.

Dieudonné’s expertise extends beyond his roles at TTI and Discovery. He also worked at the International Telecommunications Satellite Organization (ITSO), previously known as Intelsat, as Director of Technical Affairs. At Intelsat, he oversaw Ground Systems Engineering, managing products and leading the application and development program. Notably, he played a pioneering role in satellite internet development, being part of the engineering team that achieved the first satellite internet transmission.

Dieudonné Nlend is also a distinguished academic. He holds a Master of Science in Telecommunications and Computing from the esteemed George Washington University – School of Engineering & Applied Science. Prior to this, he earned a Master’s in Open Information Systems Engineering from CentraleSupélec (École Centrale Paris) and a Master’s in Physics from Mines Paritech (École des Mines Paris), specializing in energy, thermodynamics, and regulation.
