Fashion designer, film producer and stylist Mason Ewing is one of the Cameroonians in the diaspora who are making Cameroon’s image shine throughout the world. His particularity is that he is blind, and he manages the feat of creating beauty in the dark.
Mason Ewing’s disability and his extraordinary talent have attracted the attention of the whole world, which is why he is so close to many celebrities around the world.
His exceptional talent in his areas of expertise has brought him into close contact with key players in the world of sport in his home country of France. His address book includes Alioune Touré, Youssef Oubaïd, “my biggest supporters are really my friends, my godfather Emmanuel Petit, Bruno Bellone, the intendant of the French team Bachir Néhar, one of the biggest French agents Frédéric Dobraje (former player). Luis Fernandez and Luis Ferrer are also big supporters of Bébé Madison”. Explains Mason Ewing.
His close friends also include former Monegasque of Cameroonian origin Maurice Douala, presenter Thomas Mekhiche who presents La Quotidienne on TF1, Madame Téléfoot Sylvaine Mignogna who has worked for TF1 for over 30 years, not forgetting the man he affectionately calls my friend Didier Roustan.

After his first steps in the cinema as a director, Mason Ewing uses the incredible talent of Africans in general and Cameroonians in particular to develop this industry through his dream, EwingWood. Through his close relationship with the Director General of the Ouagadougou Film Festival (Fespaco), Mason aims to develop the film industry in Africa and particularly in Cameroon, which is why he has chosen to shoot his first feature film, “Coup de foudre à Yaoundé”.
